This year’s conference is a collaborative effort among the San Antonio Chapter of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), the Philippine Nurses Association of San Antonio, Inc. (PNASA), and Sigma Global Nursing Excellence Delta Alpha at-Large Chapter. Together with the San Antonio Nursing Consortium (SANC), these organizations are committed to advancing patient safety, supporting nursing professional development, and strengthening interprofessional collaboration across the region.
Our theme, “The Value of Nursing: Driving Patient Safety Through Collaborative Care,” highlights the essential role of nurses in advancing patient safety and quality outcomes across diverse healthcare settings. It also underscores the importance of teamwork among nurses, physicians, case managers, rehabilitation specialists, social workers, patient educators, and other healthcare professionals in creating safer, more coordinated, and more patient-centered care environments.
