The SANC Annual Patient Safety Conference returns for its 8th year on Saturday, September 12, 2025, at the San Antonio Marriott Northwest, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Hosted by the San Antonio Nursing Consortium (SANC), this signature event continues to provide a powerful platform for nurses, students, educators, and healthcare leaders to come together in pursuit of safer, more reliable, and more collaborative care.

2026 Theme:
“The Value of Nursing: Driving Patient Safety Through Collaborative Care”

This year’s theme celebrates the essential role of nurses as leaders in patient safety and champions of high-quality, patient-centered care. The conference will explore how nurses, working in partnership with physicians, case managers, rehabilitation specialists, social workers, patient educators, and other members of the healthcare team, drive better outcomes through effective communication, care coordination, and shared accountability. Attendees will hear from expert speakers, learn from real-world case examples, and engage in conversations about evidence-based strategies that reduce preventable harm and strengthen safety culture across the continuum of care.
